PHUOT HOUSE

Identity

The Phuot House is a hostel, motorbike rental, and cafe (no, I’m not making this up) in Hà Giang, Vietnam. Situated at the start of the most popular scenic motorbike loop in Northern Vietnam, the Phuot House is an excellent home base to make sure you see it all. Đi Phuot!

Logo:

The Phuot House logo is a simplification of a traditional Vietnamese roof and the wheel of a motorbike, merging representations of their two primary services into one mark. The curved lines in the mark are made from the same angles as the accented characters in "Phuot."

Signage Campaign:

The Phuot House incentivizes travelers to finish their journey around the Hà Giang Loop with signage at key destinations along the way. The series shows the traveler’s position on a map of the loop and rewards them with scannable points that can be redeemed for food and drinks at the Phuot House.

“Đi Phuot” is Vietnamese slang synonymous with going on an adventure and, today, has adapted the implication of being on a motorcycle.
